DOCUMENT CROWDSOURCING BY CROWD POWER
Crowd Power has the ability to take any piece of legislation (federal, state, local), referendum, policy, etc. and create a web application that will allow a large number of people to review and provide opinions.
We can work with any group or organization that has a document that would like have reviewed by "the crowd". The organization can help determine what "crowd" or community would be most helpful in reviewing the document (e.g. a hospital would like to have their employees review potential new policies).
We are committed to implementing this technique on many upcoming pieces of legislation. We would like guidance from our lawmakers and the voters to determine which bills should be reviewed next.
Preparing a new bill for Document Crowdsourcing is a relatively simple process. It can be summarized as follows:
- Identify important bill, referendum, policy to be reviewed
- Parse bills into reviewable sections
- Determine assessment criteria (voting choices and reviewer information)
- Populate our database
- Update bills as they are modified during the legislative process
- Notify the "crowd" that the bill / policy is ready to review
- Statistically analyze data to ensure integrity and security
- Produce reports and deliver them to interested parties
Once a bill or document is first introduced and published in a digital form we immediately break it up into reviewable segments while at the same time our experts work with advisors and clients to determine the proper set of assessment criteria (questions) to present to our crowd of reviewers. We closely monitor the bill or document so that we can keep the most current version available to the reviewers.
As soon as the bill / document and the criteria are ready, our partner, Chaordix, integrates it into the database and polling engine. Crowd Power then puts out a call to the Crowd letting them know that there is a new opportunity to actively assist in the democratic process.

After getting our Crowd going, we announce to the interested world, or the client's crowd, that the process has started and that our reports will soon be coming out.
